I.D. Style Tube Plug
Projectile Tube Cleaning’s I.D. (Inner Diameter) Style Expandable Tube Plugs use an adjustable rubber design allowing them to slip completely into the tube I.D. This design is great for applications that have coatings on the tube sheet that extend into the tubes or when tubes are epoxy coated. The adjustable design allows these expandable plugs to be used for permanent or temporary situations. They are easy to tighten for a complete seal, taking between 70 to 80 inch pounds. These durable tube plugs are rated to handle up to 400 psi and 220° F. The I.D. style tube plugs are available for condenser and heat exchanger tube sizes ranging from 3/4” to 1” (19.050mm to 25.400mm) outer diameter (O.D.) and come in either brass, bronze, or stainless steel.
O.D. Style Tube Plug

(Outer Diameter) Style Expandable Tube Plug has the same adjustable design as our I.D. style plug but instead of being inserted completely into the tube, the plug inserts until the large washer is flush with the tube sheet. This design prevents the plug from moving inside the tube. This plug can be used in both permanent and temporary applications. These durable tube plugs are rated to handle up to 400 psi and 220° F. The O.D. style expandable tube plugs are available for condenser and heat exchanger tube sizes ranging from 3/4” to 1” (19.050mm to 25.400mm) outer diameter (O.D.) and come in either brass, bronze, or stainless steel.
